Developing Meaningful and Engaging Learning Experiences

About

I design and develop visually compelling blended learning solutions hinging on my ability to be critical, perceptive and to distinguish patterns by forging ideas that are emotionally meaningful as well as practical. I create a form of positive expression through means beyond words or symbols.

I operate with a human-centred, goal-oriented approach where I analyse and distinguish learning strategies by revealing inert requirements, behaviours and cravings. I am passionate about contributing to learning initiatives by designing and developing tools for practical purposes rather than just for mindless consumption.

Guidepoint

Guidepoint is a knowledge platform that connects business and government professionals with industry and subject-matter experts accelerating opportunities for leading organisations across sectors and geographies.

This interactive eLearning course was designed to enhance workplace productivity by teaching essential time management principles. Developed using Articulate Storyline, the course followed the ADDIE Model starting with stakeholder collaboration to align learning objectives with business goals. A detailed storyboard was created, incorporating scenario-based learning, click-to-reveal interactions, drag-and-drop exercises and knowledge checks for an engaging experience. Custom infographics, animations and feedback were integrated to reinforce key concepts. The final SCORM-compliant package was tested for accessibility and deployed seamlessly on the organisation’s LMS ensuring a learner-centric, results-driven experience.

I led the development of a medical training simulator focused on cardiac arrest procedures. The goal was to merge immersive technology with clinical accuracy creating a tool that could support medical students and professionals in practicing high-risk, life-saving protocols in a realistic but safe environment. I facilitated strategic discussions with the CEO and healthcare stakeholders to define the scope, audience and educational outcomes of the simulation. By asking targeted questions about user needs, delivery methods, realism levels and technological constraints, I guaranteed that clear goals were established and aligned with both business and educational objectives.

I guided the Unity developer, UX/UI and graphic designers in iterative prototyping and facilitated feedback loops with practicing doctors. This process informed design decisions and refined system functionality. I coordinated cross-functional collaboration working with designers, animators and subject-matter experts to integrate medical accuracy with engaging user experience. My leadership guaranteed clarity between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable tasks while keeping development agile. I prioritised continuous learning by engaging in specialised courses in game-based learning and simulation design guaranteeing the project stayed innovative and evidence-based. I also encouraged knowledge sharing practices within the team driving efficiency and upskilling across disciplines.

I oversaw rigorous testing with clinicians outside the project team to validate usability and educational effectiveness. This final validation phase confirmed the training simulation’s value with strong interest from the medical community in expanding its scope for future procedures.

Stellar Sound Foundation

Stellar Sound Foundation is a prominent arts and culture non-governmental organisation based in the Netherlands. Our mission is to actively contribute to the growth and enhancement of the music industry by empowering musicians through PR and promoting the creation and exhibition of contemporary art that blends cutting-edge technology with modern media.

I designed and developed a SCORM-compliant employee onboarding course to support the integration of new hires within the organisation. The primary module incorporates interactive elements and custom graphics to effectively educate employees on essential onboarding requirements as well as their rights and responsibilities. Additionally, a secondary module, created in Storyline, features a Gamified Knowledge Check to further engage users. The course is hosted on Moodle LMS where I monitor and evaluate key data points such as quiz scores, pass/fail rates, completion rates, time spent and survey results.

Silex Power

The Valene Black Mamba is a technologically advanced superlight unique sports car aimed at speed and fun loving individuals. Offering simplicity, unparalleled performance, safety, looks and most importantly, a truly unconventional driving experience with the safety and comfort offered by a car and the thrills of a motorbike cruise.

Engaging with key stakeholders enhanced my understanding of their business challenges allowing me to establish a shared vision for the app. By identifying risks, aligning expectations and fostering consensus, I developed a strategic, phased approach to the user experience. This process sparked innovative ideas, strengthened early team cohesion and instilled a strong sense of ownership across disciplines.

Collaborating with two project managers and a lead designer, I translated insights into features that addressed customer behaviors and motivations. To effectively communicate the vision, design principles and content strategy, I developed frameworks and prototypes ensuring stakeholder alignment and informed decision-making.

Beyond project management, I played a key role in defining the product by balancing consumer needs with business objectives. I prioritised and recommended features for both launch and post-launch phases. Partnering with two designers and their project manager, I adapted product features for various platform environments, executing user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and design specifications.

Working closely with our developer, I transformed concepts into a functional prototype. Face-to-face discussions facilitated efficient resolution of interaction design challenges by addressing constraints and opportunities. Our iterative approach emphasised collaboration, continuous testing and refinement.

Throughout the project, I developed and delivered key presentations and materials to secure stakeholder buy-in and ensure project success.

Journey of Hope

John W. Zhang – A persecuted artist in pursuit of art, faith and freedom was born in Shanghai in 1955. He combines an artistic fusion of Oriental and Western culture, which is vividly expressed through its design components and colour palettes.

The graphic design process for creating a printed catalog of paintings and furniture for an exhibition involved several key stages. Using Adobe InDesign, the layout was meticulously planned to balance aesthetics and readability. High-quality images of each artwork and furniture piece were edited and optimised to ensure accurate color representation. A cohesive visual style, including typography, spacing and branding elements, was established to reflect the exhibition’s theme. Descriptions, pricing and artist details were carefully formatted for clarity. Multiple rounds of revisions and proofing ensured consistency and print readiness before finalising the catalog for professional printing.

The logo design process using Adobe Illustrator involved several key stages to create a distinctive and impactful brand identity. It began with research and brainstorming to understand the brand’s vision, target audience and industry aesthetics. Initial sketches were developed to explore various concepts which were then refined into digital vector designs in Illustrator. Typography, color schemes and iconography were carefully selected to ensure versatility and scalability across different applications. Multiple iterations and feedback loops helped refine the design ensuring alignment with the brand’s identity. The final logo was then exported in print format, digital and branding use.
